The David Eckhaus Collection headed to Porto, Portugal of Joyce Lieberman works on paper has expanded.
A few years ago, David bought his first large painting on Archival Arches paper of Bunnies and Birdies. Painted when my darling bunny was alive and delighting everyone she met. He had it framed in a vibrant imaginative way.
David decided he wanted to collect small works to hang salon style, so yesterday he selected several to my delight.
What a great collection.
The bottom monoprint dates back to 1988 with a bit of touch up in 2022. He has an interesting range of flowers and critters.
The top piece, “Nest” is the smallest and the most abstract and psychedelic of his choices. It’s a little gem.
