The David Eckhaus Collection that is headed to Porto, Portugal, including several pieces of artist Joyce Lieberman’s works on paper has expanded.
A few years ago, David bought his first large Joyce Lieberman painting on Archival Arches paper of Bunnies and Birdies. Painted when my darling bunny was alive and delighting everyone she met. He had it framed in a vibrant imaginative way.
David decided he wanted to collect several smaller works to hang salon style, so yesterday he selected the following works to my delight.
I look forward to see how David frames and installs them, both imaginative actions on his part.
What a great collection.
The bottom monoprint dates back to 1988 with a bit of touch up in 2022. He has an interesting range of flowers and critters.
The top piece, “Nest” is the smallest and the most abstract and psychedelic of his choices. It’s a little gem.
