Raku fired triangular smokers

Triangular Shapes made windmills and wild geometry. I made holes and placed them on pedestals for a candle to light from within and hopefully make just enough smoke to keep the mosquitoes away.

Got through the bisque firing, whew, but the first two, of three, has smaller holes. I tried to enlarge the holes with a drill and a Dremel so enough oxygen could get in and not extinguish the candle. It hasn’t worked out completely yet.

The glow from the candle at night is most evident on the bottom near the separate base.
Night time, they are not really smoking enough.

Bigger holes for more oxygen to keep the candle burning might be necessary.

Love the triangles

Any engineering tips for me?
